Pros

Opportunities to join the company for pretty much anybody who wants to.

Cons

The highlight of my 2018 was the day that I stepped out of this building to never return. The company's business is to highly underpay millenials with the promise of a technical job until they grow completely tired of being in the verge of homelessness and leave. They have tremendous variations in salary for engineers working side by side, doing exactly the same job, with the same job title for absolutely no reason. They show absolutely no appreciation for the employee, almost no benefits, and pretty much they're awaiting for you to leave and then hire the next unfortunate, because that's their way to profit. I have never heard a Tek engineer say that they want to follow a career path in this company, because there's non. -Disgraceful salary. -No opportunity for growth. -Terrible upper management -no benefits

Pros

One of my current managers seems to want to change things, and I believe he cares about his team. He gives us opportunities to connect with each other and collaborate with ideas. There are a lot of events centered around food. You can take a gander at the mountains from the windows. Some of the employees are kind.

Cons

There is a difference between having a genuine "positive work culture," and having rose colored glasses. This job prefers the latter, which proves why turnover is so high. The CFO stated that we are replacable, and that the perk of getting paid less compared to the rest of the market is that we have great hours. Another leader said that we wouldn't even notice an extra couple of hundred dollars on our paycheck. This is NOT a positive way to connect with your team...Investing in your employees, and caring about their concerns IS. Asking any questions or criticizing any unreasonable policies will label you as being "negative." They will have you sign documents with their proceedures and policies, then change them repeatedly on a whim. There isn't much consistency or reasoning behind decisions made. No one higher up seems to take accountability when there is a legitimate issue or mistake, and will gaslight you to make it seem as though it is your fault. This is an international company that makes a lot of money, but won't pay their more experienced employees to the level they deserve. One of my managers is completely unprofessional and rude to employees she doesn't like or agree with, in front of the entire team. It's been over a year, and I've yet to see accurate reports that can definitively track our metrics. Many people have not received an annual review.

Pros

- A lot of good people work there, hard working, genuinely good people

Cons

- Everything else - Horrible management - Constantly being lied to - Did I mention that Management are writing their own good reviews? Everyone knows for a fact that the only people left from Sept 2014 still working there are some of the Managers who are causing all the problems
