Pros

Honestly, there really are zero pros for working with Tek-Experts. They're trash!

Cons

Paid once a month. You'll be worked like a slave. You'll receive 8 cases a day to resolve Microsoft Azure issues until you have to deal with 100 cases in your backlog because they take 2 weeks to solve. And then continue getting 8 cases a day. I've never worked with a company that would lie about everything they'll say they do. They slashed technical lead from 2 on a team to 1 so technical work never gets done. You better hope to God a co-worker knows how to resolve an issue because it's entirely possible only 3 people in the company know how to solve a particular account issue. I came out of training and was told I would be ramped up but I immediately got 8 cases a day and they GAVE ME 30 CASES FROM COWORKERS WHO DIDN'T DO ANY WORK ON THERE CASES FOR MONTHS. When I asked for time off multiple times they told when they wouldn't approve time off while working from home and I QUIT. This company is trash and now the "billing" department has to move out of Colorado Springs because they are getting such a bad rep and can't hold on to a single quality employee because of their greed and slavery. Enjoy your just desserts.

Thank you for your feedback on your experience with our company – I’m sorry that it didn’t seem to be a good fit for what you were looking for! With Covid affecting people and requiring a lot of work from home situations, there has certainly been no short of issues for us to help out with! In this position it is critical to have excellent case management skills, as we believe in keeping ownership of a customer’s issue until it is resolved. It may require working with multiple departments and take several weeks before reaching a resolution – all while checking back with the customer to see how things are going and working with new customers. Lastly, our employees receive 15 paid days off per year, in addition to 11 paid holidays. We encourage all employee to use their time each year, and simply ask to schedule it in advance (to my knowledge we have never implemented any black-out dates!) Good luck to you – I hope you have found a position that is a better fit!

Pros

-Good experience for entry into IT fields -Working Air Conditioning -Monthly cake -Compensation -Camaraderie -Culture and values -Fitness benefits of walking

Cons

-Experience in the IT field should come with ACTUAL pay for an IT job, instead of pitiful and non-negotiable wages. Instead, you get a great title and the same pay you would get working at Buffalo Wild Wings. -AC seems to work best in January -Admin staff above a certain level make an absolute killing, while staff make next to nothing. I watched engineers make a pitiful amount above minimum wage. I watched management not only refuse to hand out raises but AGGRESSIVELY invalidate tenure in the process. Why? Because monthly cake. -Aforementioned monthly cake costs more monthly than it'd cost to give hard-working employees actual raises -Camaraderie occurs because everyone feels like they're working in their own coffins. - Culture and values are present, and they are as follows: "Accept a lack of compensation and career path, with a smile, or hit the road". If you DON'T adhere to these company values, with a smile, you will be offered the chance to find another job. -Fitness benefits of walking will only arrive once you brusquely walk out the door at the invitation of management, who will happily invite you to do this upon your request for a raise anywhere over 15 cents an hour.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts, and I applaud your efforts on your creative metaphors. As I have mentioned in previous responses, we have a %E2%80%9CMeritocracy%E2%80%9D methodology %E2%80%93 meaning we %E2%80%9Cpay for performance%E2%80%9D. I agree with your comments listed in the Pros section %E2%80%93 especially your mention of our Culture and Core values! The position that you held with us is a %E2%80%98Support IT%E2%80%99 role, and if you compare this position in the marketplace I feel that you will find our pay to be competitive to other like positions. Our monthly attrition rates continue to run below average in our market %E2%80%93 a measurement that I am quite proud of! It seems that you have moved on to your next adventure, so I hope that you found what you were looking for and I wish you the best in your future!

Pros

Working schedule may be flexible. You have the opportunity to learn about the product (Azure in my case).

Cons

- Salary is a joke. - No benefits at all. - They see you as a number only. - Lots of people can be really good at what they do but you won't get nowhere unless you know about influences or are friends with the right people (90% of all cases). - They'll promise you a salary increase that will never come (they told us about that for about a year...). - Related to a previous bullet, you can't grow there. - No sodas, a few microwaves, poor relaxing area, few elements on bathrooms. - They take advantage of recent high-school graduates to underpay them. - Management is a joke. As an overall, this company was laughable, not serious at all. Luckily I got to make some good friends and I learned a lot about Azure, everything else I tried to forget for the sake of Gosh...
