Pros

Good 401k matching and PTO policy (before switching to "unlimited" time off)

Cons

Very limited opportunities to get promoted. The biggest bummer is that the company very clearly does not value their existing employees. Somehow, they are fine with paying new hires the same (or more) than existing employees with years of experience, but good luck getting a raise after 3+ years with the company. The company periodically has layoffs and is completely fine throwing generous severance packages around (12 months of salary) but the annual merit increase to people who are staying is 3-4%... no wonder everyone is quitting. The company has monthly employee surveys where you can provide feedback but of course no action is ever taken.

Pros

Hybrid working and not much else

Cons

Management are cliquey Constantly understaffed, and in turn expected to do 2 peoples jobs with ridiculous targets and ridiculous time constraints End up staying late / working during lunches which is never acknowledged Leadership / management do not listen to feedback given in monthly surveys and fail to discuss these if the results make them look bad Lots of empty promises regarding progression and development Lack of internal opportunities - these only go to the favourites Every small mistake is pointed out to you, yet successes are never acknowledged Complete lack of training for new employees, who are thrown in the deep end, yet management ridicules people for not knowing things they haven't been trained on Lack of clear communication regarding process changes, which take place constantly Lack of flexibility and breathing room in certain roles Rewards given out to favourites for doing nothing
