Multiple levels of interview by several managers, employed more than 9-years by KPMG. Phone interview followed by personal interview, by some stupid managers, who nether master the art of development nor the management.

Question 1
All technical to Microsoft.Net. This company is large and has solid customer base, by being blessed with big-4. The people and process has serious problem. The people take pride by paying Microsoft Consulting Services a hefty money, otherwise they are simply non-sense. All the best, if you succeed.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at KPMG (London, England) in Feb 2016
Interview
In person, two stages and mostly fit and competency based questions. I had to prepare a business case and talk a lot about the current market challenges etc. This was an internal interview so it may differ from that of external hires.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at KPMG (Mumbai) in Dec 2016
Interview
The interview process at KPMG was fairly seamless. The HR connects with you once they receive the profile from either a job consulting agency or through one of their employees. Once, the HR round is completed, a senior member of the team (either a manager, senior manager, director), looking for a candidate in their team, will conduct a technical interview. Their could possibly be multiple technical interviews depending on the designation being applied for.
Once the technical interviews are completed, the HR will likely inform the candidate about the outcome of the interviews and if successful, will offer the compensation package which will need to be confirmed verbally after which the official offer of employment is provided to the candidate.
The total process may take anywhere between 2-6 weeks.
